About this stop:
One of the oldest buildings in Downtown Honolulu, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace, dedicated on August 15, 1843, is Hawaii's first Catholic Church and the oldest Catholic Cathedral in continuous use in the United States. Blessed Damien of Molokai was ordained here on May 21, 1864 adn this is where he celebrated his first mass.
